Bharatiya Sangeet O Kala Bihar (BSOKB) is an organization which is devoted to preserving and propagating Indian classical music and dance. BSOKB is based in Bihar that acts as a hub for artists, cultural enthusiasts and performers aspiring to learn, practice, and celebrate Indian arts. Their website was designed to present their programs, events, and commitment to the growth of talent in the area.
BSOKB was an institution that involved preserving cultures and hence BSOKB was in need for a digital platform that would ideally depict their mission. The problem came down to being able to design a user friendly website, one that explained what Marcos offered in each of the categories of music and dance classes, workshops, and cultural events. It was also important that the platform appealed to local users as well as global users, and that they participate in, and support each other.
To bring BSOKB’s vision to live, a modern responsive website was developed by incorporating visually engaging elements which represent the very spirit of Indian art and culture. They created dedicated sections for their programs, faculty and for program updates so that people can easily explore their offerings.
A gallery section was added to display performances and workshops, a blog space to show insights of Indian classical music and art. An event registration system and donation portal were adopted in order to reduce the effort of participation and support to the institution. Similarly, SEO was applied to increase visibility within search results focused on finding cultural programs and Indian art online.
BSOKB’s new website has improved online presence with its redesigned website that has made it easier for art appreciators and supporters to be present with BSOKB. Event registrations and plenty of positive feedback from users have justified BSOKB as a pioneer in preserving and promoting Indian arts. This platform is now a valuable resource and a lively representation of their cultural mission.
